In 2004, Kitimat Community Services Society
amalgamated its employment services with the
Kitimat Community Skills Centre and in August
the Kitimat Employment Services Centre opened
its doors at 562 Mountainview Square.
We offer a wide range of services such as:
Employment Consulting
Resume/cover letter development
Job Search assistance
Career decision making tools and assistance
Access to a wide range of printed resources for job search purposes
Access to internet and office equipment to assist in your job search (photocopier, computers, printers)
Referrals to financial assistance for eligible clients
Workshops on various topics
This service is provided free of charge to clients that meet the following eligibility criteria as specified by the Government of Canada:
Looking for a job on your own can be a daunting task because the labour market has changed so drastically in the last decade. You don’t need to go it alone, the Employment Services Centre is here to help.
