The Kitimat Food Share Program collects perishable foods from the local grocery stores, which would otherwise be disposed of and distributes it to those in need. Foods include: produce, meats, bakery items, prepared entrees, eggs and milk products. By picking up and distributing these foods, we assist with poverty issues, feed people who are hungry, and prevent good food from going to waste.
