Terrace Regional Legal Aid Office, providing legal aid services to areas including Terrace, Kitimat, Prince Rupert, Queen Charlotte Islands, New Aiyansh, Hazelton, Smithers, Houston and Burns Lake. Legal Aid can provide legal representation in cases of family matters involving violence and/or child apprehensions, and criminal matters where there is a likelihood of imprisonment. Services available to clients who are eligible under the coverage guidelines and according to financial status. Legal information is available to everyone at the on-site Legal Information Resource Centre. Out ot town residents can call the office to find out application procedures for their community.. |
